CCSU students, faculty, and staff patrons must have a valid CCSU Blue Chip card to check out library materials. A state issued ID can be used in place of your Blue Chip card so long as your card remains valid. Approved guest borrowers may check out materials with an approved guest borrower card.

The library is now Overdue Fine free.
Lost or Damaged materials
Replacement costs:
A $75 replacement fee will be charged plus a non-refundable $25 processing fee for books considered lost, after being overdue for 90 days. In the event the replacement cost is significantly higher, the current replacement cost may be charged. Equipment, games and other formats will be charged at the current replacement cost. Consortium loan replacements will be charged at the cost from the lending library. Registration and/or transcripts may be withheld until the account is settled.

Returning Materials
Library materials may be returned inside the library while the building is open. Check Library Hours: here.
After hours please use the book drop at the rear of the building, off Harold Lewis Drive. The book drop is to the right of the employee entrance.
Bookstore rentals should be returned to the Bookstore in the Student Center to ensure proper credit.
