Make a URL Off-Campus Friendly!

Use this handy tool to create durable links to library research databases that work off-campus.

Paste or enter the URL of your licensed database/e-journal article in the box below and click submit. A link will be created for you that can be used both on and off campus.

URL Examples:,uid&profile=ehost&defaultdb=vth

Hint:The most accurate way to capture a link is to hover your mouse over the URL, right click and select “copy link location”. Some database vendors, like EBSCO, rewrite the URL and include things like session IDs, which make the link useless after a short period of time!
