Another option outside of EBSCO databases is HeinOnline - where you may be able to find some information at a local level.
HeinOnline is a premier online database containing more than 182 million pages and 281,000 titles of historical and government documents in a fully searchable, image-based format. HeinOnline bridges an important research gap by providing comprehensive coverage from inception of more than 2,800 law-related periodicals. In addition to its vast collection of academic journals, HeinOnline contains the entire Congressional Record, Federal Register, and Code of Federal Regulations, complete coverage of the U.S. Reports back to 1754, and entire databases dedicated to treaties, constitutions, case law, world trials, classic treatises, international trade, foreign relations, U.S. Presidents, and much more.
ERIC, the Education Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and research. The database provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. Content includes journal articles, research reports, curriculum and teaching guides, conference papers, dissertations and theses, and books dating back to 1966.
Access to many full-text ERIC documents has been temporarily restricted due to privacy concerns.
PsycARTICLES contains searchable, full text articles from 56 journals published by the American Psychological Association and allied organizations. Examples of titles offered in PsycARTICLES include: American Psychologist, Behavioral Neuroscience, Canadian Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Journal of Abnormal Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychoanalytic Psychology, Psychotherapy: Theory/Research/Practice/Training, etc.
Coverage is 1988 - present.
Features more than 1,300,000 records with subject headings from a 15,600 term sociology-specific thesaurus designed by expert lexicographers. SocINDEX with Full Text contains full text for 242 "core" coverage journals dating back to 1895, and 72 "priority" coverage journals. This database also includes full text for 547 books and monographs, and full text for 6,711 conference papers.
Select an EbscoHost database – Academic Search Premier is a popular choice that spans a number of disciplines.
To save time and to calm some of your worry that you may be missing something in one of their other databases, select ‘Choose Databases’. This will lead you to a screen where you can check off additional databases. In this way, you might also choose a business database (Business Source Premier), psychological database (PsycInfo), or sociology database (SocINDEX), for example. Remember that any topic may have various lenses through which to focus.
Note: while you will most likely find more results this way, you may need to do additional filtering of your results and evaluate for relevancy to your research needs.
