Virtual Library Services During Emergency Campus Closure

Due to the current COVID19 / Coronavirus-related emergency campus shutdown, the library has put together this special guide to virtual library services.


Librarians are available via chat to help you ! 

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Sunday: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Borrowing/Interlibrary Loan

I have overdue library items - how do I return them? Will there be overdue fines?

There are 2 online platforms (VitalSource and RedShelf) offering textbooks online for free for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester in order to help with the ongoing coronavirus crisis. Details are available at

How can students access course reserves? 

Digital course reserves are still accessible. (Additionally, online articles can still be received through interlibrary loan.) Physical reserves are unavailable at this time. There are 2 online textbook platforms (VitalSource & RedShelf) that are  free to individual students and faculty members during this crisis. Details are available on our blog post at:
