Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share research.  It allows you to have a library that keeps all of your references organized, allows you to grab citation information from any web page with chrome and firefox extensions, and offers a plug-in for Word and OpenOffice that can format your bibliography and citations.
