It has always been our privilege to serve our local community’s research needs. Regrettably, the
Covid-19 Pandemic has changed how we will be accomplishing this task for the foreseeable future. In an
effort to protect our students and faculty we have changed the way we will be delivering our services.
Can Guest Borrowers borrow
books? Yes, materials may be requested by logging into your Library
Account.
Can Guests come into Burritt Library and browse through the stacks?
Can Guest Borrowers come into Burritt Library to check books out? Yes, following CCSU
Blueprint guidelines. Masks are required and no food or drink is allowed in the
Library.
All third-party staff, contractors, and visitors are required to fill out the CCSU Symptom
Monitoring Survey for Vendors & Visitors before arriving on campus. Where appropriate, CCSU
Contact Tracing serves as a liaison with the local contact tracing case management team to provide CCSU
specific information to contact tracers. Proper campus notification and confirmation of adherence to safety
guidelines must be provided prior to access being granted.
Are computers available for public use? There are 2 public
terminals (Chromebooks) on the first floor and 1 on Stack 6.

During this time we are currently not accepting new applications for guest
borrowers. Our materials are freely available through Interlibrary Loan from all of our Connecticut
Public Libraries, such as nearby: West
Hartford, New Britain, Newington, Farmington, Berlin. Other services of
interest may also be available through your public library.
