How do I get a book from the library?
Request your material online through the CentralSearch catalog.
Due to an increase in coronavirus infections, the library is reducing in-person interactions by providing low/no-touch circulation services. This means that library staff members will now check the materials that you requested through CentralSearch out on your behalf, leaving them in bags (labelled with your name) for pick-up in the library's lobby area. Library staff will alert you when they are ready to be picked up.
How to request books & other library materials from CCSU & CSCU libraries
Sign In to your Library Account
(or Conduct your search, then login)
Click the Request button & fill out the request form
You will soon receive an email letting you know that your request has been processed and is ready to be picked up at the library. At that time, you can come to the library, Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30. Your book will be checked out to you, in a bag labeled with your name and the date at the front entrance of the library.
