How do I get a book from the library?

Request your material online through the CentralSearch catalog or visit us in-person to find the books / media you are seeking. During constructions, Stack 1 will be closed but staff will be happy to retrieve materials upon request.

During the semester, the library is open:
  • M-Th: 8am-10:45pm
  • Fri: 8am-4:45pm
  • Sat: 9am-3:45pm
  • Sun: 2pm-9:45pm

How to request books & other library materials from CCSU & CSCU libraries

  1. Sign In to your Library Account
    (or Conduct your search, then login)

  2. Click the Request button & fill out the request form

  3. You will soon receive an email letting you know that your request has been processed and is ready to be picked up at the library. At that time, you can come to the library, Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30. Your book will be checked out to you, in a bag labeled with your name and the date at the front entrance of the library.
