Type in keywords. Use quotation marks to search a phrase. Books may be available in print or online format.

To find reference books, add the word reference to your search. 

To find ebooks, filter your results to Online (under 'Format' in the left hand column of the results page).

  • Search for your profession in the library's Online Catalog - add keywords such as Career (and your profession) and you may find a book or article that provides usable information.

  • Do you know someone in the profession?  Interview them - this is a great "primary" source!

  • Just about every profession has an association - visit their website for resources.

  • The list of websites on this page provide some recommendations.  Search the Internet on your own but be sure to evaluate what you find!
