Open Educational Resources (OER)

To create an attribution for an openly licensed work that you want to incorporate into your course, you may find the acronym TASL helpful - Title, Author, Source, License.  

Example: 

"Creative Commons 10th Birthday Celebration San Francisco" by Timothy Vollmer is licensed under CC BY 2.0

Title - "Creative Commons 10th Birthday Celebration San Francisco“

Author - "Timothy Vollmer" - linked to his profile page

Source -  "Creative Commons 10th Birthday Celebration San Francisco" - linked to original Flickr page

License - "CC BY 2.0" - linked to license deed

You can also use an attribution builder such as the Open Washington Attribution Builder. This will take you step by step and help you create an attribution using information from the OER.
