Virtual Library Services During Emergency Campus Closure

Due to the current COVID19 / Coronavirus-related emergency campus shutdown, the library has put together this special guide to virtual library services.

Resources for Faculty

We are here for you and your students!

There are many virtual Ways to Reach Us - chat, virtual meetings, email, and more.

Your courses are now in Blackboard and so is the Library. Find out more here.

Online Information Literacy Instruction - Reference Librarians are available to conduct online information literacy instruction sessions for your students. Please contact Susan Slaga-Metivier – slagas@ccsu.edu to set up a session. We can cover a variety of topics - preparing for research, how to use library resources such as CentralSearch and the library databases, and more.

You may be looking for Open Educational Resources to support teaching and learning. You can find those here.

What can you do about Course Reserve materials now that the library is closed? We have some options here.

We are updating this guide and our online support on an ongoing basis as questions arise. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with your concerns.
