The Diversity Collection are resources addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to support faculty and students engaged in teaching, learning and research in the School of Education and Professional Studies and programs in preservice education, counseling, and social work. All titles are held in the Elihu Burritt Library collection, and most of them can be found in the CCSU’s Curriculum Lab located on the fourth floor of the Burritt Library. Resources include professional development books on culturally relevant/responsive pedagogy as well as children’s literature and picture books that focus on different aspects of diversity such as culture, physical ability, age, gender, sexual orientation, social and economic class background, ideological and political orientation, race and ethnicity, national background, religious affiliation/religiosity, and social-emotional health.

DEI resources can be searched through the library's online catalog, Central Search but can also be found under "Collections". Visit the library's home page ( https://library.ccsu.edu  ) and click on the Central Search direct link. Sign in (top right hand corner) using your CCSU email and password. Choose Collections.
